Teaching
Currently, teaching activities include diverse areas of scientific
computing such as high-performance computing, parallel algorithms,
and computational differentiation.
Although most of our activities is offered within the curriculum of
computer science, we would be happy to motivate students of
mathematics, science, and engineering.
General Information
Information on all our teaching activities is available sorted by:
Computer Science Graduates
For graduate students, the curriculum of Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University
offers the opportunity to specialize in a particular area. We encourage students
to choose Vertiefungsfach High-Performance Computing.
Computer Science Undergraduates
Due to the curriculum we are currently unable to teach
courses particularly designed for undergraduates. What we do offer for you is
a practical training in Parallel Programming using Java.
If you have any questions concerning our chair or if you would like
to start any kind of an undergraduate activity,
feel free to contact Martin Bücker.
Physics Graduates
The curriculum of Physics at RWTH Aachen University of Technology offers the opportunity
to choose a non-physical minor subject (Zweites Wahlpflichtfach). We
encourage students interested in computational aspects of physical simulations
on advanced computing systems to choose from a variety of our courses.
